Gulch Distillery was our first customer. So to fill the order, the local seed plant cleaned 10K pounds of winter wheat from our farm, and then I wondered what else to do with all that wheat. ... Mill flour? ... Oh yes. And 4 years later, we're still delivering winter wheat to Gulch, flour to Bozeman and beyond, and milling away in Choteau.
The Montana version of chicken & waffles is elk & waffles! Add some bacon, finely chopped onions, and some garlic powder to your waffle batter and have yourself a savory treat. Last Best Pancake flour, sweet or savory for the win!
